For most sites I build, there's no ongoing monthly cost once it's live, that includes no hosting cost. You'll see some other agencies charge a monthly ongoing fee to keep your site live, with me, you only pay when you actually need something.

Choosing, and checking
Two sorts of visitor. One is deciding where to go on Sunday, searching “best breakfast Porthcawl” or “afternoon tea near me” the night before, reading the menu properly and looking at photographs of the room. The other is stood on a pavement at half nine typing “cafe near me open now”. The first is choosing a morning out and wants to picture sitting there for an hour. The second has already chosen and only wants to know whether the door’s open.
The things that actually decide it
Dogs, parking, buggies, a step at the front and whether the toilet is up a spiral staircase. Those decide whether somebody comes, and most cafe sites answer none of them. Hours are the other one, and “open now” is baked into how the results get ranked, so if you’re in Porthcawl or Llantwit Major your July and your February are two different businesses that the search treats as one. Wrong hours are also the quickest way to earn a one star review from somebody who drove over on a Tuesday.

It’s published on the Food Standards Agency site whether you mention it or not, so a five is worth having work for you.

The first meeting is me going through the two people landing on it, the one planning Sunday and the one stood outside now, and what each of them is after. Then a scope and a price.
The build, your email and your Google profile
Most of these sites are static: plain files on a server, nothing to log into, no plugin sat there waiting to be patched. They load quickly on a phone with two bars of signal, and for most of them there's no ongoing hosting cost. No monthly retainer, and the domain renews once a year at list price in your name with no commission from me. If you'd rather edit the pages yourself I'll build you something you can edit, and tell you what it costs to run before we start.
Email goes on your own custom domain, setup properly so your quotes, invoices and confirmations land in the inbox rather than the spam folder.
Then the Google Business Profile, which on a phone often sits above every website on the screen. I go through yours with you and get it agreeing with the site, because when the two disagree they stop being read as the same business.
